STRESS INDUCED ILLNESSES

Stress - the giant killer :

........Stress has been taking a great toll. The diseases in its armory attack us at various levels, and make sure that the victim is thoroughly incapacitated. Researches show that at times more than 75% of patients to doctors have directly or indirectly stress-induced-illnesses. The important diseases are as follows : 

A. Physical level : 

........Increased palpitations, Blood pressure, Heart ailments, Headache, Neckache, Backache, Stomach-ache, Fatigue / Exhaustion, Indigestion, Sweaty hands & feet, Trembling, Allergy etc.   

B. Psychological level : 

........Insomnia, Anxiety, Anger, Forgetfulness, Frustration, Hostility, Impatience, Dejection, Lack of concentration, Lack of confidence, Reduced efficiency in work, Indecisiveness, Emotional imbalance, Suicidal tendencies etc. 

C. Behavioural level : 

........Escapist tendencies, Self-imposed isolation, Strained relationships, Smoking or drinking more than usual, Eating more or less than usual, Difficulty in laughing, Sexual difficulties, Reckless driving, Want change too often, Work becoming a load, Using medications too often etc. 

Note : All of these diseases may not be seen in one person. Different people depending upon their constitutions may be inflicted with different ailments.
